“Where research meets society’s needs.”
Jazari is an interdisciplinary research center for interrelated disciplines aiming at a comprehensive understanding of real-world problems toward collaborative and integrated research-based solutions and applications.
In this context, interdisciplinary research means integrating information, data, techniques, tools, concepts, and theories from two or more disciplines for one integrated research-based solution for the problem under study.
The center is named after ibn ar-Razāz al-Jazarī (1136–1206) the polymath, scholar, inventor, artist, and mathematician from the Jazira in Cizîra Botan, Şırnak.
